DE's Newest Brand : Sun at Six

Sun at Six is the latest brand to join the DE roster, and we couldn't be more excited. Founded in 2017, Sun at Six is based in San Jose, CA, and is the brainchild of Antares Yee. The company gets its name from two of the most peaceful and reflective times of the day –– sunrise, and sunset –– and the furniture echoes that sentiment.
Antares comes from a family of designers and makers, and became interested in their use of the ancient technique of traditional Chinese joinery after working in digital design. Pulling inspiration from Chinese, Japanese, and Scandinavian cultures, Sun at Six combines an age old tradition and quality materials to manufacture beautiful, contract grade furniture. Check out the products here. We can't wait to share more!

Did you know that DE has custom manufacturing partners?

Meet Skiff! Skiff loves to create experiential environments, like the one above commissioned for Pinterest HQ. Get a load of this 10' long custom Push Pin made from 100,000 pieces of Lego bricks. The Pin took over 2 weeks to construct and required special steel engineering to allow the sculpture to balance with the pin facing down. What are you waiting for? Bring that idea to life!

And, meet Ironclad! One of their specialties are live-edge tables, like the one pictured above. A custom counter height conference table with a power supply cutout in the center, they preserved the wood in its natural state. They love a good customized project and are not afraid of specificity. So let's get specific.
